katie b has the flu

She's staring off into space and saying random things like, "I feel like I'm not in control of one thing." Now, you know the child's sick if she's feeling like that. She has a really high fever. Do you remember how that feels? Like you are here but not really here. Like you can't turn your eyes very far in any direction. Like you're cold and hot at the same time. Like you can't hold onto a thought. The office ladies at DCHS had to force her to leave work today. She came home and went to sleep and woke up with 100.5. She Momma said, "Get in the car, we're going to the Doc in a Box." Sure enough, she has the flu. And bronchitis. And tonsillitis. And anemia. She's like The Gladiator, you can't hardly take her down. She just keeps fighting and winning. Maybe she can get some forced rest this week while she convalesces here at home. It will be a good exercise for her to see that the world continues to spin on it's axis. If it does continue to spin on it's axis.

I've seen her drive until her body rejected the driver's seat, she'll get through it and make that flu her b.

Her body has rejected the flu over to me, Ryan. Wicked bad cough. Annie is right, and quite the wit.

I don't know what any of you are talking about, I love the flu, and bronchitis. It feels so GOOD.
