cornhole

Cornhole is sweeping the nation. Well, OUR backyard anyway. It started as a rural pastime in the heartland, the breadbasket of the world, somewhere in Ohio. It began showing up on college campuses at tailgate parties and the infields of NASCAR events. Uncle Stan made us our very own set. I've been pondering what type of personalization to adorn it with. If it was just my set, I would paint books and coffee on it, maybe LOTR. John would put motorcycle stickers or guitar logos all over it. Katie b would probably paint little bumble bee's on it as that is her signature critter. Mike? I don't know, maybe golf insignia or Louisiana Tech logos where he played football or Tama and Zildjian stickers or pictures of pugs. Who's the nerd in our family? Me, I know.

So, come on over for a game. Bring an especially taunting verbal challenge and let's rumble. Go to the ACA website to register and read about their tireless efforts at bringing conformity to the rules and standards of play. And be thinking about how you would personalize your own set as I happen to know where you can purloin one. Because, you see, cornhole is sweeping the nation.
