I don't want to debate politics with you. Unless I see you face to face. Then it would be nice to discuss ideas and maybe argue a little. I've always liked to argue. My Dad taught me to argue as a way of refining my beliefs. But, we usually enjoy a good argument so much that we will take any position just to keep it going. So fun. At every holiday table, coffee and dessert would be enjoyed while arguing. There we would be, my Daddy, 3 brothers and me. Refining our beliefs. And using any weapon at our disposal, including all the best informal fallacies of logic. While everyone else scatters to get away from the noise. So good.
I really like the online opinion page of the Wall Street Journal. It's free and fabulous. I'm falling in love with the man in this article.

Great article and great commentary on a generation mostly overlooked. Ever since my hair has gone mostly gray, I've had my eyes opened to the sad opinions of some younger folks about those with a few years on them. A pity that wisdom is so little valued. I too am coming to an appreciation of Mr McCain. He is so far ahead of the other two jokers - in a completely different league. Surely the world will see the difference.
I really don't like to argue...
I don't like to argue, but even if I did, I have nothing to argue about concerning this article. I agree! Honestly, I think if he doesn't win, we're in deep do-do.
