Good to be me.

Pot-o-gold, thy name is Stan and Jennifer. We've got company as of yesterday around 6pm. They flew in to spend the week and we are stoked! We got to the house upon returning from the airport, gave Mike a minute to concoct something fruity in large styrofoam cups, jumped into the boat and cruised over to SunDowners for dinner right as the sun was setting. I got the onion crusted Mahi, Jen got the Fish Oscar special, Stan had a crab stuffed Grouper and Mike got the YellowTail Snapper. SunDowners makes a Key Lime Martini, no lie, that has graham cracker crumbs around the rim. Our path home through the darkness was lighted with a truly stellar performance by the Big Dipper and my two new favorite constellations, Scorpio and the Teapot. If I brought my star maps, does that make me a nerd? I got to be first mate since JohnJohn went home and I even got to hold and shine the big light on the channel markers. It is good to be me.

I miss me some key lime martini, but I tried to re-create it last night and it turned out pretty good - graham cracker crust-n-all!
